Science and Research Centre Koper is a national research entity consisting of eight research institutes. Among them, the Institute for Kinesiology Research (IKARUS), since his creation in 2004, have five main sectors in the field of health research:

  • Skeletal muscle plasticity (from childhood to adulthood)
  • Motor control
  • Rehabilitation
  • Support in space physiology
  • Engineering of medical diagnostics
