This research programme focuses on investigating the complexity of the proposed problems by using a combined and coordinated interdisciplinary approach of internationally recognised research groups from the fields of humanities (philosophy) and social sciences (sociology), thus deepening and extending the work already successfully initiated and carried out.
BioTech2Agri
The aim of the BioTech2Agri project is to increase the level of innovation in the agri-food sector by transferring existing biotechnological potential and promoting and enhancing the quality of biotechnology value chains in the cross-border area. The project encourages the exchange of expertise, experiences, and best practices, networking, and collaboration among stakeholders from academia, industry, public and private sectors, as well as policy improvement aimed at enhancing competitiveness and economic growth in the cross-border area.
AI-GRAPE
The AI-GRAPE project's objective is to develop and implement a Decision Support System (DSS). System created with artificial intelligence by combining data from weather stations, microenvironmental sensors, drones, satellites, and insect traps.
RecapMCV
The cross-border project RecapMCV will contribute to the visibility of the cross-border tourism region by valorising, upgrading and promoting the digital products and their impacts, developed in the MerlinCV project, which are based on the valorisation of the untapped potentials of cultural and natural heritage and gastronomy.

The key objective of the N.E.A.R. to Guardians project is to ensure full access to basic rights and strengthen the potential of unaccompanied minors in participating partner countries, with a focus on key areas of integration, such as accommodation and inclusion in education and employment.

The activities of the HUMAN project are geared towards preventing hate speech directed against diasporas in partner countries. These initiatives are centered around education and digital practices aimed at fostering inter-community activism and cultivating positive changes in the attitudes and behaviors of young people.
X-BRAIN.net
The X-BRAIN.net project addresses a common health challenge of the Programme Area in relation to the development and improvement of research and innovation capacity and the introduction of new technologies in hospitals in the Programme Area. Post-stroke patients occupy 15% of the capacity of health facilities in the Programme Area. Starting post-stroke rehabilitation as early as possible is crucial. In addition, bilingualism is an important factor and therefore cross-border cooperation between institutions is essential to provide quality health care in a bilingual area.
Cognitive-inclusive approaches to cross-language awareness in the linguistic integration of children with migrant background
The research project is conceived as a response to the changing global social reality associated with an increasingly multi-ethnic society, caused also by continuous migration flows and the changes in the functioning of the world order in the light of the transition from a multilateral to a multipolar world. This consequently affects national social policies and strategies.

Empowering Women in Alpine Skiing (EWAS) aims to contribute to inclusion and diversity, in particular gender equality, and increase women’s employability in Alpine skiing by promoting education and skills development in the sport and thus improving the quality of coaching. EWAS’ primary target groups are women in Alpine skiing (coaches, administrators, racers).
TESI
TESI aims at establishing a partnership that will work on the formulation of a Joint Master Programme on Social Innovation (JM). With this aim, the project focuses on two main objectives: to raise competences and skills on social innovation through capacity building approaches, with a focus on contemporary social challenges in public administration’s governance, urban regeneration, social entrepreneurship, welfare, migration; to establish a network of universities and research centres to define and implement the JM.
FATIMA2
FATIMA2 aims contribute to ending honour crimes against women by promoting attitude and behaviour change among young men in contexts where women are most at risk, such as segregated migrant communities.
Physical inactivity induced neuromuscular impairment: comparison of younger and older adults
Project activities will focus on neuromuscular and metabolic deterioration during PI and recovery thereafter. The effects of PI will be studied using highly controlled bed rest, which is considered the gold standard for studying PI, in 10 younger (18-30 years) and 10 older (55-65 years) male adults for 21 and 10 days, respectively.
