An important part of activities of ZRS Koper is represented by eight infrastructural organization units. They differ from one another primarily in their content, as well as in the methods used and the scope of activities they perform. Some of them are closely related to the parent research groups / institutes from which they were developed, while others perform their support activities for all the ZRS Koper research groups and beyond. Most of their activities are mainly to support  research work, which regularly includes elements of instrumental support with equipment of higher value.

Infrastructural support is partly financed through the Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS)

Isokinetic Dynamometer

Isokinetic dynamometry is a sophisticated method used to assess muscle strength and function by measuring the force output of a muscle or muscle group during movement at a constant speed across a specific range of motion. The core component of this method is an isokinetic dynamometer, a device designed to maintain a set speed of movement regardless of the amount of effort exerted by the individual. Isokinetic testing is widely used in physical therapy, sports medicine, and research settings to assess progress during rehabilitation, determine the impact of training programs on muscle function, and guide the development of personalized training and rehabilitation protocols.

The purchase of research equipment was co-financed by the Slovenian Research Agency under the call “Paket 21”.
