Development funding pillar

The development pillar of funding, which is a novelty of the new law, aims to promote the development of scientific research and infrastructure activities in terms of quality, creativity and innovation, internationalisation, openness, knowledge transfer and cooperation with the environment, contributing to the achievement of objectives and results and the implementation of actions or tasks in the field of scientific research defined in the strategic documents of the country and of the EU, taking into account the mission and strategy of the individual recipient of stable funding.

The distribution of the resources of the development pillar of funding shall be carried out in the light of the development priorities defined in the Strategy of ZRS Koper, on the basis of a decision of the Director, following a prior opinion of the Scientific Council of ZRS Koper.
