Biography:
After completing her bachelor’s degree in Translation (Slovenian–English–French) at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, in 2022, Tinkara Vukadinović Kastelic continued her studies in France at the University of Strasbourg (Université de Strasbourg, Faculté des langues), specialising in multilingualism and interculturality (plurilinguisme et interculturalité), where she obtained her master’s degree in 2024. Tinkara is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Primorska, specialising in Language and Interculturality.
Previously, she worked as a young literary critic on various projects, provided individual tutoring in English and French to secondary school students, and participated in various projects in the fields of linguistics, lexicography, and digital linguistics, including the Collocations project, the RSDO project (Development of Slovenian in the Digital Environment), the Review of Proper Name and Lemmatization Tags project within the Slovenian Biographical Lexicon, the Online Notes project at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, and others.

Before joining the team at the Institute for Linguistic Studies at ZRS Koper, Tinkara was in Lisbon, Portugal, as part of an international study placement.
