Terms and Conditions of the ZRS Koper Website (www.zrs-kp.si)

These terms and conditions are drawn up in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-UPB2), the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS), and international standards. The ZRS Koper website is operated by the Science and Research Centre Koper, a public institution located at Garibaldijeva ulica 1 in Koper (hereinafter referred to as “the provider”).

To make a purchase on the ZRS Koper portal, visitors must enter their personal information in the “Payment Data” form. The general terms and conditions govern the operation of the portal, user rights, and the business relationship between the provider and customer.

Due to the nature of e-commerce, product offerings on the ZRS Koper website are updated and changed frequently and rapidly.

Shipping Costs

Standard shipping within Slovenia via Pošta Slovenije:

Shipping within Slovenia is fixed at EUR 2.80 per order. Orders over EUR 30.00 qualify for free shipping.

Shipping costs can be avoided by picking up your order in person at the Science and Research Centre Koper (Garibaldijeva 1, 6000 Koper). Payment at the Annales ZRS Koper Publishing House is possible in cash only on business days from 8:30 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 15:30.

Standard International Shipping – Pošta Slovenije:

  • Europe: EUR 9.00 per order + EUR 4.00 per item. Shipped by registered mail with tracking.
  • Outside Europe: EUR 13.00 per order + EUR 4.00 per item. Shipped by registered mail with tracking.

Delivery time depends on the postal services of the countries involved.

Contractual Terms

These general terms and conditions are subject to the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, no. 98/04—official consolidated version, 114/06—ZUE, 126/07, 86/09, 78/11, 38/14, 19/15, 55/17—ZKolT, and 31/18) and are an integral part of every sales contract.

Material Defects

What is a material defect?

A material defect occurs when:

  • The product lacks essential properties for normal use.
  • The delivered product does not match what was ordered.

How to report a material defect:
Customers must promptly notify us of the defect, provide a detailed description, and pay for return shipping. The product must be made available for inspection.

When should you report a material defect?

In cases where the product is not under warranty. Claims must be submitted within the legally prescribed deadlines.

Data Protection & Consent

Complaints, Disputes, and Legal Use

ZRS Koper will endeavour to resolve any disputes amicably and as quickly as possible. If no agreement is reached, the competent court in Koper will have jurisdiction in accordance with Slovenian law.

ZRS Koper does not recognize any entity for the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes under the Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes Act (ZIRPS). Disputes must therefore be resolved in court.

In accordance with Article 32(4) of ZIRPS, ZRS Koper provides a link to the European Commission’s online dispute resolution (ODR) platform as an online seller.

Changes to the General Terms and Conditions

ZRS Koper reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect from the moment they are published on the ZRS Koper online store website, except for confirmed orders, which are subject to the previous terms and conditions.
