Borrowing

Main eligible borrowers are all current researchers and staff of the ZRS Koper. All other users are welcome and are granted all borrowing privileges according to the national Regulation of Basic Library Services. All borrowers have their own accounts in the Library’s online system that contains their names, Library identification numbers, contact information, items charged out, overdue items, lost items, and fees associated with unresolved financial obligations, if any.

The loan time for borrowed material is generally three weeks, but exact dates are indicated on an insert clipped to the material. Renewals may be requested but they are at the discretion of the lending library.

Library is part of the national COBISS+ system and we encourage all members to handle their borrowing with the use of the My Library application.

Interlibrary loan with national and international libraries is possible. For international interlibrary loan we encourage the use of IFLA voucher scheme.
