As part of the jubilee 10th Table Olive Festival, the Institute for Oliveculture of ZRS Koper invites olive growers to submit samples for the sensory evaluation of table olives.
Samples will be collected from 7 July to 8 August 2026, between 9:00 and 15:00, at the Laboratory of the Institute for Oliveculture of ZRS Koper, Livade 6, Izola. A minimum of 2 × 300 g of table olives must be submitted for evaluation.
The award ceremony will take place on 11 September 2026 at 18:00, in cooperation with an internationally recognised expert in sensory evaluation.
This year’s festival will be slightly different, as it is moving to a new venue and opening its doors to a wider public. A rich professional and accompanying programme is being prepared for the occasion.
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, we are also planning the sale of table olives and olive oil at the Koper marketplace, which will be organised if sufficient interest is expressed. Interested providers are invited to register via the link HERE. The number of places is limited.
