ZRS Koper among the supporters of the Dialogues4Peace Conference in Athens

The Science and Research Centre Koper (ZRS Koper) is among the academic supporters of the first Dialogues4Peace conference, which will take place from 25 to 27 October 2026 in Athens, Greece. The conference will be held at the renowned neoclassical palace Zappeion Megaron.

The conference topics include philosophical and ethical perspectives on peace, ethical frameworks for coexistence, cultural heritage, education and future-oriented thinking, science, technology and ethics in the service of global peacebuilding, artistic dimensions, and politics as a step from theory into practice.

The conference aims to encourage the active participation of the academic sphere in establishing a global and regional order based on international law, justice, and equality. Its purpose is to help create a more stable and cooperative international order that encompasses not only the absence of conflict, but also social justice, economic development, and intercultural understanding. The initiative also seeks to foster a renewed renaissance of classical wisdom through education.

The event is co-organized by prestigious international universities, research institutions, and organizations, including Springer, The Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Beijing Normal University, the Association of Young German Scientists, the Hellenic Red Cross, and many other institutions.

Dr Lenart Škof, Head of the Institute for Philosophical and Religious Studies at ZRS Koper, is also a member of the conference’s scientific committee.
