You are warmly invited to the presentation of remote-controlled robotic mowers: “Robotics and Sustainable Olive Growing”, which will take place on 20 May, starting at 9:00 AM, at the Morgani olive grove in Korte.
The event is organized by the Olive Growing Institute of ZRS Koper, and the practical demonstrations are intended for agricultural producers, non-governmental organizations, agricultural advisory service providers (JSKS), secondary schools, and other AKIS stakeholders (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System).
The event will showcase modern technological solutions. Remote-controlled robotic mowers reduce the need for heavy machinery in olive groves, thereby reducing soil compaction and improving soil structure, water infiltration, and moisture retention. Such systems support conservation tillage, enable more efficient agricultural operations, and contribute to greater resilience of olive groves to drought conditions and climate change.
Registration via the online form HERE is mandatory.
The event is funded through the LIFE4ADAPT project, co-financed by the European Union. The views and opinions expressed are solely those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the CINEA agency.
