The Centre for Asian Studies (previously: Centre for Cooperation with China) at ZRS Koper was established with the aim of becoming a hub for cooperation with academic institutions and programmes in Asian countries.
It provides a regional platform for research, networking and education, aids researchers in their work with institutions in Asia, while also working with researchers that come into contact with Asia-related topics in their work, helping them establish suitable connections and environments for their research work.
Furthermore, the centre is active in the promotion of research results and achievements, the organisation of events and the preparation of educational and promotional publications.
