Visit to the prehistoric forts of Slivno and Repnič

You are kindly invited to visit the hillforts – castellieri of Slivia and Rupinpiccolo. The visit is organised within the framework of the KAŠTellieri project – Sustainable cultural and tourist destination Cross-border Land of Prehistoric Forts – Upper Adriatic hillforts.

The project is co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia Programme.

The visit will take place on Saturday, 23 May 2026, at 9.00 a.m. The meeting point is the cemetery in Aurisina (Italy).

Participants will gather between 9.00 and 9.30 a.m. at the cemetery in Aurisina, from where transport to Slivia will follow. Between 9.30 and 11.00 a.m., a visit to the hillfort in Slivia will take place, followed by a transfer to Rupinpiccolo between 11.00 and 11.30 a.m. The programme will continue from 11.30 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. with a visit to the hillfort, while lunch will follow at 1.00 p.m. The visit will be conducted in Slovenian and Italian. Prior registration is mandatory, and participants must arrange their own transport.
