Prof. Dr Lenart Škof, Head of the Institute for Philosophical and Religious Studies at ZRS Koper, will take part as a speaker in the international symposium Delphi Dialogues 2026 “The Future of Humanity”, which will be held in Delphi from 3 to 4 July 2026.
The Fourth Delphi Dialogues are organised by the European Cultural Delphi Centre and are held under the auspices of H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr Constantine An. Tassoulas. The programme is taking place for the fourth consecutive year and is open to the public.
The European Cultural Delphi Centre is considered one of the foremost cultural institutions in Greece, where the importance of humanistic thought is consistently explored. It serves as a venue for dialogue on some of the most pressing questions of our time, with a focus on the human being and democracy.
The international programme Delphi Dialogues was launched in 2023 with the aim of exploring key aspects of humanity’s journey towards its emerging future, while contributing to global critical thinking through concrete proposals and dialogue. Each year, renowned thinkers and scientists of global stature gather in Delphi to discuss urgent contemporary issues and challenges that humanity will soon be called upon to face.
This year’s speakers will include pioneering and highly influential scientists from the fields of astrophysics, artificial intelligence, medicine and neuroscience, as well as scholars from the humanities and social sciences. Together, they will explore how scientific and technological developments are shaping the future of humanity.
Prof. Dr Lenart Škof will give a lecture entitled The Future Soul of Humanity.
