The kick-off meeting of the international project GymAca – Gymnastics Academy (ERASMUS-SPORT-2025-SCP-101245228), co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, took place yesterday, february 4, 2026, at the premises of the Gymnastics Federation of Slovenia in Ljubljana.

The GymAca project aims to establish a harmonised European framework for the education, recognition, and certification of gymnastics coaches, thereby raising the quality of coaching and professional development in sport across Europe.

The meeting brought together partners from various European countries. On behalf of ZRS Koper, the meeting was attended by ddr Edvard Kolar, Diana Kranjc from the Institute for Kinesiology Research – IKARUS ZRS Koper, and Gaja Kovač from the Project Management Center at ZRS Koper.

The main goal of the meeting was to present the project activities, align work plans, and establish a common understanding of the project’s expected outcomes.
