Invitation to Workshops within the SIS-Hubs Project for Professionals in Social Welfare, Education, Law, Healthcare, and Psychology

The Institute for Social Studies of ZRS Koper is implementing the SIS-Hubs project (Sorority, Integration and Support for Women and Girls through Community-Based Programmes, AMIF-2024-TF2-AG-THB, Project No. 101198346). The project aims to contribute to the social integration of women and girls from third countries who are (potential) victims of human trafficking. As part of the project, we invite professionals working in the fields of social welfare, education, law, healthcare, and psychology to participate in a series of educational workshops. The workshops are particularly intended for those who work directly with migrant women, vulnerable groups, and/or individuals with experiences of violence.

The aim of the workshops is to strengthen the network of support services through which individuals can access information and assistance, while fostering interdisciplinary and sensitive approaches to working with (potentially) vulnerable groups.

The workshops will take place in the ZRS Koper Library (Garibaldijeva 1, Koper).

Participants will gain insights into support services available in the fields of social welfare, education, law, and healthcare. The workshops will encourage discussion on challenges and experiences in working with vulnerable individuals and explore how awareness-raising and interinstitutional cooperation can contribute to the prevention of violence.
