We invite you to participate in the International Technology Transfer Conference (ITTC), which is being held for the 17th year and will take place on October 9, 2024, at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana and via Zoom.
The Jožef Stefan Institute is the leading partner of the Knowledge Transfer Consortium (KTO – Knowledge Transfer Office) project, within which the Science and Research Centre Koper has established its own office for knowledge and technology transfer. The theme of the conference is “Self-evaluation of research organizations to support the development and strengthening of the field of knowledge transfer.”
The aim of the conference is to promote the exchange of knowledge between academia and industry, with the purpose of strengthening collaboration and the transfer of innovations from research laboratories to industrial application. The conference is organized by the partners of two consortiums of project offices and technologies, representing 13 Slovenian public research organizations.
This year, you can participate in several ways:
- by contributing a scientific paper on the topic of technology transfer and intellectual property; more information on submission can be found on the conference website: HERE; the deadline for preliminary registration and abstract submission is August 10, 2024, and the deadline for paper submission is August 17, 2024;
- by submitting a scientific, inventive, and innovative technology; by submitting, you will enter the world of support activities, namely the Vesna venture capital fund for financing innovations within spin-off companies; you will also benefit from incentives for starting innovative companies from the Slovenian Enterprise Fund and other opportunities; registration of interest for submission HERE, deadline for written applications: September 9, 2024, information and application forms HERE, individual assistance in preparing the application:
- by applying for the WIPO National Award for Innovators; awards will be given for the inventive and innovative contributions of Slovenian researchers and their key role in promoting national development; application deadline: September 5, 2024: HERE, more information about the award and selection criteria: HERE,
