The Mediterranean Institute for Environmental Studies at the Science and Research Centre of Koper is co-organising a study visit as part of the ECO2SMART project (project No. ITA-SI0100053) in the framework of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia cooperation programme, which will take place on Friday, 7 June 2024.
The study visit aims to familiarise participants with good practices of adapting to climate change through the use of ecosystem approaches in Veneto, Italy. We will visit several good practices examples implemented in the coastal area of the Natura 2000 lagoon in Caorle and Valle Vecchia. The study visit is primarily intended for professionals dealing with related topics and/or planning the implementation of similar measures in coastal areas. Networking and discussion with project partners will also be facilitated for experience exchange.
