At a time when the number of armed conflicts around the world is increasing, when digitalization is fundamentally transforming all aspects of public life, and when religious and spiritual challenges are being viewed in a new light, dialogue between experts, institutions, and practitioners is more necessary than ever.
The Institute for Philosophical and Religious Studies at ZRS Koper cordially invites you to attend a round table discussion entitled:
“Religious and Spiritual Care for Members of the Slovenian Armed Forces in the 21st Century”
which will take place in the conference room of the Centre for Humanities, ZRS Koper (Kreljeva 6),
on 21 May, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Key topics of discussion:
Responding to the growing number of military conflicts: the role of spiritual caregivers in contemporary crisis situations.

Spiritual care in international operations and missions, and the pluralism of religious communities within the defence system.
The round table will bring together experts engaged in both research and practice concerning military spiritual care, morale, resilience, and the role of religion in modern armed forces. The discussion will examine different models of military spiritual care in NATO member states and in the post-Yugoslav region, as well as issues of religious pluralism, ethics, and psychological resilience within military environments.
