Invitation to a Lecture: Allelopathy and Invasive Plants

We invite you to attend a lecture by Dr Katarina Šoln from the University of Primorska (UP FAMNIT), who will present the allelopathic effects of invasive plant species and their importance for understanding ecosystem impacts and managing invasive species.

The event will take place on 11 June 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Institute for Oliveculture, Science and Research Centre Koper (ZRS Koper), Livade 6, Izola, Slovenia (Sensory Evaluation Room).

The lecture is organised within the framework of the knowledge transfer activity from the academic environment to the workplace and the AlleloTox project: Characterisation of the Allelopathic Effects of Invasive Plants.

The project contributes to a better understanding of the interactions between invasive plants and the environment, opening new opportunities for research and practical applications in the field of nature conservation.
