The lecture series Energy and Religion: Questioning the Relations continues at Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana. The series is co-organized by the Society for Comparative Religion and the Institute for Philosophical and Religious Studies of ZRS Koper, within the framework of the project Nikola Tesla: Philosophy of Energy, Technology and Religion and Its Relevance Today (ARIS No. J7-60133).
On Wednesday, 4 March 2026, at 8:00 PM, the following lectures will take place in the Alma Karlin Hall:
• Dr Andrej Lukšič: The Energy Sector in the Light of Political Ecology
• Dr Andrej Ferdo Gubina: Energy Communities and Self-Sufficiency – How Cooperation Can Be the Key to the 4D Energy Revolution
The lectures address two different yet interconnected aspects of the energy sector:
- Political ecology reveals how energy policies and power relations shape social development and our relationship with the environment.
- Energy communities and self-sufficiency demonstrate how local cooperation and innovative practices can contribute to a fairer, cleaner, and more sustainable energy supply.
