The “TwinBrain” project was highlighted by the European Commission as an example of a success story

The project TwinBrain (TWINning the BRAIN with Machine Learning for Neuro-muscular Efficiency, Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation, H2020-2018-2020, no.: 952401) taking place in the framework of the Institute for Kinesiology Research of the Science and Research Centre Koper, has been highlighted by the European Commission as an example of a success story.

The goal of the project, which deals with the neuroscience of movement, is to establish a research and diagnostic centre in the field of neuro-muscular efficiency, in order to better understand the functioning and control of the central nervous system during movement.

“Our ultimate goal is for innovative technology to become an integral part of the daily practices used in clinics and by neurologist, and to have it change the way we approach patient care and diagnostics,” said the head of the project, Uroš Marušič, PhD, from the Institute for Kinesiology Research of the Science and Research Centre Koper.
