Biography:

Tina Košir graduated in the joint fields of Philosophy and Comparative World Literature at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana in 2011. In 2018 she received her PhD in the filed of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana. The title of her doctoral dissertation is »Correspondences between Onthology and Aesthetics in Non-dual Kashmir Saivism«.
Since September 2019, she works as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Philosophical Studies at SRC Koper taking part in the research project »Reanimating Cosmic Justice: Poethics of the Feminine« (J6-8265). She is also a teaching assistant at the Department of Asian Studies at the University of Ljubljana for the course Culture of India and Hindi.
She has thus far published two peer-reviwed scientific papers in Slovenian publications, a chapter in an international publication, co-edited a thematic volume of the scientific journal Poligrafi and wrote the introductory study to the Slovene translation of »Yoga: Immortality and Freedom« by Mircea Eliade.
She was awarded the Prešeren's Award at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, for her diploma thesis »Bhagavadgita between Literature and Philosophy«.
