Biography:

Ksenija Perković is a PhD researcher at the Institute for Social Studies at the ZRS Koper.

After graduating from Bežigrad High School in 2002, she enrolled to study sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana. In 2006, she participated in a one-year study exchange under the Erasmus programme at the University of Trieste, where she attended the Faculty of Political Sciences. In 2011, she was selected as a young researcher in the field of geography at the University of Primorska, Science and Research Centre under the mentorship of Prof. Μilan Bufon and enrolled in the doctoral studies in geography at the Faculty of Humanities. Between 2011 and 2019, she also had the opportunity to spend study and research periods at various universities and research institutes abroad (Italy, Netherlands, Finland, Austria, Serbia). In April 2019, she successfully defended her dissertation and was employed at the Koper Science and Research Centre, where she is actively involved in the implementation of several international projects.
