Biography:

Vojko Pavlin graduated in 1990 at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts. At the same faculty he finished in 2004 his master studies and received his doctoral degree in 2012 with the dissertation entitled „Goriška – od vladavine zadnjih goriških grofov do habsburške dedne dežele“ (County of Goritia/Görz – from the last Counts of Görz to the Habsburg Erbland).

Since october 2020 he is part-time employee at the Science and Research Centre Koper. At the same time he works on a project at the Research Centre in Ljubljana.

His bibliography contains 65 bibliographic units.

Vojko Pavlin received in 2007 the „Camillo Medeot“ reward by the historical institute in Gorica/Goritia (Istituto di storia sociale e religiosa di Gorizia).

Research:

Vojko Pavlin works on the project „Kulturnozgodovinski vidiki staranja“ (Cultural aspects of ageing in history), led by Urška Bratož PhD. He is also a member of the project team under the leadership of Matej Hribovšek PhD ("Latinske in nemške kronike na Slovenskem" – "Latin and german chronicles on the Slovenian territory").
